Atlanta IT support that picks up

One team answers your staff's calls, keeps every computer and network device maintained, and deals with the vendors and building issues that eat up your office manager's week.

What day-to-day IT support covers

IT support is the part of IT your staff notice. Someone can't print the closing documents. A new associate starts Monday and needs a laptop, an account and access to the right folders. The conference room screen won't connect five minutes before a client pitch. We take all of that on for a fixed monthly fee, and we look after the systems underneath so those calls come less often.

  • A help desk your people can reach: phone, email or a portal, answered by technicians who have your network map, your device list and your vendor contacts in front of them.
  • New hires and departures: accounts, licenses, laptops and building access requests set up before the first day, and shut off the same day someone leaves.
  • Monitoring and patching: every PC, Mac and server reports health and update status around the clock. Updates roll out on a schedule you approve, outside your busiest hours.
  • The office network: your firewall, switches and Wi-Fi gear updated and watched, with guest and visitor traffic separated from business systems.
  • Vendor calls: the internet carrier, the copier lessor, the phone provider and your line-of-business software vendor. We open the ticket and chase it so your office manager doesn't have to.
  • Hardware and licensing: recommendations, ordering, setup, warranty tracking and a running inventory of what you own.
  • Planning: four times a year we sit down with you to cover recurring problems, equipment near retirement and next year's spending.

IT support Atlanta offices actually need

A small firm in a Downtown tower and a studio off Howell Mill Road need different things from the same service. Some of what we see across the city:

  • Law and professional firms near the courts: deadlines don't move. Document management, PDF tools, dictation and e-filing have to work every morning, and changes get scheduled around trial calendars and filing dates.
  • Medical and therapy practices in Midtown: Midtown alone has more than 400 medical, dental and outpatient practices in the 2023 ZIP Code Business Patterns. Front desks there need check-in kiosks, imaging and the practice management system talking to each other, and patient data kept private.
  • Tech and research startups around Tech Square: staff often bring Macs, work odd hours and expect self-service. We set up automatic enrollment so a new laptop configures itself, and we keep the security controls investors and enterprise customers ask about.
  • Film, design and creative shops on the Westside: big files, fast storage and color-calibrated workstations. Wired 10-gigabit links between editing bays and storage often matter more here than anything in the cloud.
  • Nonprofits and associations: donated or discounted licenses, volunteers who come and go, and boards that want plain answers about risk.
  • Hotels, venues and event firms near the convention district: busy weeks are fixed by the event calendar. Wi-Fi, point-of-sale and back-office systems have to hold up when the city is full.

Showing up downtown, in Midtown or on the Westside

The large majority of tickets get solved over a remote connection while the person who called waits. Some jobs need a visit: a dead switch, a cable fault in a 1920s building, a team relocating two floors up. For those, an engineer heads into town from Alpharetta. We know how high-rise visits work: badge requests filed ahead of time, loading dock windows for equipment deliveries, and building rules about after-hours work in the telecom room. We plan visits with those steps already handled so a simple job doesn't turn into a wasted afternoon.

Send us a question and a senior engineer answers inside one business day. Clients get urgency-based response targets spelled out in their contract.

Moving into, out of or around the city

Office moves are a big part of IT support in Atlanta. Leases turn over, firms trade a Buckhead tower for Midtown or a Downtown floor for a Westside loft, and the IT side is often an afterthought until two weeks before move day. We start with a walk-through of the new space, check which carriers are in the building and how long their installs take, plan the network closet and cabling, and set a cutover date that leaves room for a delayed circuit. On move weekend we disconnect, move, reconnect and test, so Monday starts normally.

Starting with us

We begin by collecting admin passwords, domain and DNS records, licenses and vendor contacts, and by talking with whoever has been handling IT so far. Monitoring goes on every device in the first weeks, urgent fixes come next, and your team gets one number and one portal for help. Your price is fixed after the assessment. Projects like a move or new server are quoted separately before any work starts.

Questions about it support

Half our staff use Macs. Is that OK?

Absolutely. Plenty of in-town clients, especially in tech and creative fields, run a mix. We manage, patch and secure Macs with the same care as Windows PCs.

Will you help with an upcoming office move?

Yes. Tell us as early as you can. We check carrier availability in the new building, plan cabling and the network closet, and handle the move weekend so Monday starts normally.
